# Getting started
HUDS aims to bring together all the elements and building blocks that Helsinki University uses accross its digital products and web sites. The project is under heavy development and documentation can be expcted to change rapidly.
This website is a temporary place to host the component documentation. It uses Vuepress for page generation and allows easy authoring for plaintext and html documents with some added plugins for live code playgrounds and special markup.
In the future a more robust system or a cms should be implemented, to allow text changes without version control know-how.
